need invites you to a sensual haven, to explore through different
interactions how a feeling of safety can lead to meaningful intimacy.

Sensually stimulating film about a realm of sexual freedom and safety, a sensual choreography where image, sound, and motion seamlessly intertwine. Jonnah Brons' stylish "need" delves into consent and desire, intimacy and experimentation. Several individuals traverse through distinct spaces, where they encounter, explore, and caress each other.

We follow Aida, a young woman who enters out of curiosity and a longing for intimacy. Through interactions in different spaces, Aida becomes closer to the others, but also to herself need invites you to join them in this exploration of intimacy.

The enchanting musical composition that graces this film is the result of a unique collaboration with the brilliant sound designer and composer, Charlotte Dommerhausen. Together, they embarked on a creative journey that would define the very essence of the film's auditory identity. 

Each scene and so called ritual, deserved to have that very approach. Both blending various styles of genres and support that very narrative intwined with the sound design creating the cinematic landscape and pictures director Jonnah Bron made.

aengus havinga began developing his artistic language early in life. Growing up in various parts of Europe he was surrounded by a various amount of parallel cultures. And thanks to his parents obsession with electronic music and dance, Aengus is able to experience music within various forms.
but wait
he learned to play some piano as a teenager visiting some classic, emo pop and indie rock, but quickly gravitated to teaching himself music production with a midi keyboard and laptop. In his lowkey home studio Aengus channels his wide range of interest and incorporates it in his personal sound in developing an own signature.
